A Refined Digital Experience.

From the moment I first used Ubuntu, I was impressed by its simplicity, versatility, and the vibrant community behind it, especially how such a hidden operating system had such an incredible user experience that was fast, logical and intuitive, with an extremely consistent design.

Thus, I made it a goal to further refine the operating system, to modernise and enhance aspects of its design, while still maintaining the fundamental principles that make Ubuntu so enjoyable to use.

Through creating a concept updated user interface design and creating a short advertisement-showcase style video to depict my vision for a new Ubuntu, I amassed over 6000 engagements on a YouTube video. I am overall very proud of the progress I made from this design and what I learnt from it.

As one of my earlier projects, it helped me familiarise myself with Adobe After Effects and Figma, while the project has had a range of audience feedback that both praised the design and given suggestions for me to further refine my skills.
