Discovering how the play of light and shadow create a dramatic sense of atmosphere.

"Queenstown" depicts a coastal scene with a pier, a boat, and a building in the foreground. The background showcases a dramatic sky with dark clouds and a vibrant red streak where waves crash into it. The overall color palette is muted with hints of brighter colors in the sky and water reflections.

A sense of transience is created to portray the fleeting nature of light and atmosphere.

"Queenstown" was a photography and painting art project that depicted Queenstown in New Zealand.

The "Queenstown" project aimed to capture the essence of the location through an Impressionist lens. By blending photography and painting, I sought to convey the transience of light and atmosphere. The final piece is a personal interpretation that invites viewers to experience Queenstown in a new light.
